Bloomin' heck - Early Spring Open Day...
The Daffodils are in bloom and the Garden's looking good
Come and see for yourself at the Early Spring Open Day and Poetry Weekend...
Last year we planted several hundred Tulip bulbs...
And we're hoping that they will all be opening up soon...
So, weather and blooms permitting, we will be having an Early Spring Open Day on Saturday April 12th 2pm till 5pm

Watch this space for further news
A bright and sunny start - the month of March
It's time for buds to form on spruce and larch
The birds that soar and glide look out for food
And seagulls with their calls enhance the mood
The mornings cool and brisk - they promise much
If coming season could be full of such.
We humans fill the space with loud machines,
Electric tools and trains and other means,
Improving the surroundings our desire;
The action is dynamic, 'till we tire.

During February...
Then, hearing of the News of "Noah's flood"
Absorbing all the water into mud
The sunset managed orange here today
The fleeing clouds obtained a duller grey
I listened to the forecast, afternoon;
Some sunshine and less wind are coming soon
You might say that the system is unsettled
Though Michael Fish, responding, would be nettled
So when will be the time for higher ground? -
When sited on the beach with sea unbound.
K. Pettitt.
