Garden Gate Knitting Club

Here's a chance to learn to knit and meet new people.
Every Monday and Wednesday between 1pm to 2.30pm we'll be knitting in the cabin, in front of the fire, in the warm with a cup of tea. No experience necessary all materials supplied, if you have some knitting skills you'll be welcome too.

Donations of wool, needles and stitch counters very welcome.

If your interested please contact us or just come along.

Mmmm, Manure - come 'n get it...

We are digging out a gigantic pile of well rotted horse manure. Come and get some, free if you dig it yourself or £1.00 a bag if we dig it for you.

Come up Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm.

Christmas Dinner

Sprouts...

Yeah, lots of sprouts...

Everyone waiting...

Patiently...

For dinner on its way...

Some not so patient...

 Some just couldn't wait...

But a good time was had by all...

The leaves have fallen from the trees; and cold
Is creeping through the cracks, the sun is gold -
South-West horizon sunset, mid-December.
Tranquillity and Peace we can remember,
Amid the calling gulls and flapping birds -
Relaxing in my chair, I deal with words.

Autumnal Art Day at the Garden...

Making Bug Hotels...

And painting them...

Screen...

Printing...

Sticks and ribbons...

 It all sent our manager a little bit mad...

Begining November

Good-bye to Evening Primrose, Morning Glory
While Marigold maintain  another story
Of blooming  in the face of growing cold;
Chrysanthemums this time of year unfold;
The ladybirds are visible and close
To myriads of aphids, comatose.
